History

Kachagi (ყაჩაღი) is the Georgian word for a brigand. All over the Caucasus, small bands of outlaws lived in the forests and mountains, robbed travellers and villages, and sometimes joined larger raids for a share of the plunder.

This unit is a game choice: it stands for the small, fast bands that ran ahead of a raid and went for the men who led the defence.
