History
Qazakh, on the Aghstafa and the Kura, was a district of Turkic-speaking horsemen and herders under the kings of Kartli-Kakheti from about 1749, led by its own aghalars.
In 1773 King Erekle II took a band of Muslim horsemen of Borchalo and Qazakh with him to war against Fath-Ali Khan of Quba. These riders stand for them.
